What is “Lost Daughter”?
Overview:
Lost Daughter is a linear visual novel that focuses on a complex father–daughter relationship, surrounded by three well-developed secondary characters who each add their own unique stories.
Main Plot: You play as a man who discovers he has a daughter only after her grandmother informs him of his paternity. The elderly woman asks the protagonist to take care of his daughter — now a young adult about to be left alone when her grandmother passes away.
The girl is intelligent, attractive, but spoiled and strong-willed — traits that immediately clash with the protagonist’s personality. Unwilling to take responsibility, he refuses to bond with her. However, the grandmother devises a plan to force them to meet and develop a connection.
Even after getting to know her, the protagonist remains conflicted and hides his true identity. But an unexpected move by his daughter soon leaves him in checkmate…
Play to discover how far she’ll go — and how you’ll respond.
Secondary Stories: The New Co-worker: A young, blonde woman with light blue eyes — an “enemy” of the protagonist’s daughter. Their rivalry sparks jealousy and competition. She’s also bisexual and interested in the protagonist’s girlfriend, intertwining her story with the main plot.
Will you allow her into your relationship?
The Boss: A mature, seductive woman who becomes involved in the protagonist’s career. He competes with a male co-worker (and rival) who is dating the female boss. Completing her storyline can significantly affect the ending of the main story with the daughter.
Will you take the risk and date your boss?
The Co-worker: A red-haired woman who asks the protagonist to pretend to be her boyfriend to impress her parents. During this, he learns her father can help solve his personal problems. The goal of her story is to get her pregnant — though it has little effect on the main ending unless you choose to stay with her.
How far will you go to fix your life?
Extras: There are also three special characters connected to the secondary stories. Completing their routes unlocks additional bonus content and hidden scenes.
